A vibrant ensemble is linked and enhances the concerts of the B&HCO and they are the:BRIGHTON SAXOPHONE QUARTET (BSQ). Due to the diverse nature of the programmes of music undertaken by the B&HCO it is necessary at times to augment the orchestra programmes with the  ensemble or, individual soloists from it.

BRIGHTON SAXOPHONE QUARTET

The BSQ, formed in 1970, has added extra sparkle to the programmes of the B&HCO. Their dynamic performance has enthralled many an audience over the years and will continue to do so.  Michael Lloyd, baritone saxophone, is also the Musical Director of the B&HCO.
